Sometime after I started working at KFC ( I was about 17 I belive), my mom suggested I bring cookies for my co workers. I brought my mom’s mint chocolate cookies. However, she didn’t want me to bring her good Tupperware to a fast food resturant, so she suggested I put the cookies in a shoebox lined with wax paper. First thing one of my managners says (after trying a cookie) is that I mix the dough with my feet, because of the shoebox. From then on, the cookies were named “Feet Cookies”. This is a favorite of everyone I know, and I hope they will be yours!!

  1. Cream together shortening, sugar, vanilla and peppermint.
  2. Mix in eggs one at a time untill well blended.
  3. In a seperate bowl, mix flour, soda and salt
  4. Slowly add flour mixture in with sugar mixture until blended.
  5. Add chocolate chips

  7. Bake for 8-12 minutes in a 375 degree oven. (They will look like they’re not completly finished. Let cool on the sheet for at least 2 minutes (they will finish cooking)
