What do you eat when you can’t chew?

Posted on November 9, 2009. Filed under: Dining |

I’ve been having wisdom teeth problems for a while now, but lately they’ve been giving me more problems than normal. I went to the dentist today and he said I should get them taken out. The one that’s giving me the most problems is really broken down and has some cavities (I’m sure you wanted to know that). With all these problems, chewing things really hurts my mouth (so does talking, sometimes breathing and playing my instrument). A person can’t go through life without eating, of course, so the question is, what DO you eat when it hurts? Well, I’ve been living off applesauce, and jello jigglers for a few days, but neither of those are very filling. Pasta also seems to be ok, as long as its in the form of mac and cheese. Eating should never be a chore and when it is, how do you fix it?
