Last night, I went with my friends to the Tilted Kilt in Merriville. The Tilted Kilt is a Schottish Hooters. The waitresses wore short kilts and and white tops with plaid bras. The food was wonderful. I got the black and blu cheeseburger, and it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The bar stocks a good amount of beer at good prices. The only thing that wasn’t so amazing was at the end of the meal. The supervisor came up to the table and asked if we wanted split checks, and we did. Our waitress very rudely told us that we should have told her before she rang everything up that we should have told her we were splitting. She accidently put Paddles and I on one check, and I told her to split it, and when I said I was sorry, she was very snippy. Besides that, I would recommend going there. Neil actually said the wings were much better than Hooters, so it is worth it.

After we left the Tilted Kilt, we went over to TJ Maloney’s for a well poured Guiness. There are only 3 places (according to Neil) to get good, fresh, correctly poured Guiness: The Heorot in Muncie, TJ Maloney’s, and of course, St James Gate, Gravity Bar in Dublin Ireland.   I have now had Guiness from two of those places, and really want to go to St James Gate.
