Concerts and Food

Posted on September 20, 2010. Filed under: Dining |

Neil won tickets for a Janus concert at the Cubby Bear North this past Friday. We got there early knowing the bar served food. First of all, I had never been to the Cubby Bear, so that was an expirence all in itself. It is a two floored building with room for over 600 people. It has a full kitchen and at least 4 full service bars. Matt was VERY hungry, so he got an appitizer before actual dinner. He decided on the garlic french fries (and yes, even though I’m not eating fried food, I had to have some). They were very good, but VERY garlicy. I got the black and bleu buerger. It came out very juicy and tasty, I loved it. I also stole some of Matt’s honey jalpeano corn bread. It wasn’t very spicy, but very sweet and it was soooo good. I actually probably ate about half of it, lets be honest. I want to go there again for another concert and dinner. It was a little pricy, but for just Matt and I the 14 beers we had between us and dinner was $89, I was expecting it to be a lot worse.
