Roll it up!
Since Matt started working midnights, he only gets Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Luckily I actually had both nights off with him this week as well. Tuesday we hung out with friends, and Wednesday we decided to make some dinner. We’re always trying to find something delicious that both of us will eat. That generally becomes a problem because I like food that’s a lot more healthy, and Matt has the palate of a 5 year old. Well, Tuesday we saw a commerical for Pillsbury that involved BBQ pork rolled up in a crescent roll with some cheese and we HAD to try it. I mean, who doesn’t like BBQ pork and crescent rolls? Not only was it amazing, it was really easy to make. We got one container of Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ pork (really if I had the time I would’ve made some fresh) one can of crescent rolls and a package of sharp cheddar cheese. They were in the oven for 17 minutes and came out perfectly. This would be a perfect quick meal for the middle of the week and it really didn’t cost that much a person. Throw in a side of baked beans and you have a meal!
